With a lifetime of experience in the HVAC industry—more recently specialising in Heat Interface Units (HIUs)—the path forward felt like a natural one. The foundations were already in place, with my eldest son Aaron working within the industry and my second eldest Oliver in distribution.
By late 2018, it became clear where the heat network sector was heading. Recognising a gap in the market—and with a “now or never” mindset—the decision was made to take the leap.
After sourcing a highly robust mechanical unit that met all the requirements, YGHP was ready to launch. The product successfully achieved BESA 2018 testing and WRAS approval, setting a strong standard from day one.
Seven years on, YGHP has installed over 25,000 HIU across the UK, a testament to the reliability and performance of our products.
